Socks will shrink a little in their first washing; however, they are knit on the larger size to accommodate this and do stretch out once worn again. We recommend you machine wash your socks on gentle. No bleach. Dry on cool.
For a more eco-friendly cleaning process, we recommend you hand-wash your socks and air-dry them.
*Air-drying your clothes can reduce the avg. household’s carbon footprint by up to 2,400 lbs. a year!
Solmate Socks
Solmate Socks was started in the year 2000 by Marianne Wakerlin with the simple idea that “Life’s too short for matching socks.” As a lifelong textile artist, she knew there was a market for beautifully crafted socks made right here in America.
When Marianne retired in 2015, her son, Randy, and daughter-in-law, Lisa, dedicated themselves to carrying on the family tradition of creating highly coveted, treasured works of art that can be worn on your own two feet.
