Hummingbird Garden Tile

As a child growing up in Daytona Beach, Florida, my favorite playmates weren’t toys—they were the animals and sea creatures I discovered around me. I was captivated by their shapes, textures, and quiet wisdom, and I began drawing and painting them as soon as I could hold a pencil. That deep connection to nature planted the seeds for a lifelong creative journey.

Today, I still carry that same sense of wonder into my work.

From our two-person studio in sunny Florida, we create ceramic tiles featuring bold, colorful designs inspired by the coastal world around us. Our environment—abundant with sea life, charming beach cottages, and vibrant skies—continues to be our greatest source of inspiration.

My current work continues my fascination with the natural world and the joy I find in mixing techniques and materials. I work with alcohol ink, watercolor pencils, pen and ink—each one bringing its own energy and unpredictability to the process. I enjoy working with vibrant colors and unusual materials to create pieces that are not only beautiful but also one-of-a-kind.

Every design starts with original artwork created by hand in our studio, then lovingly transferred onto ceramic tiles. From backsplashes and home décor to meaningful gifts, each tile carries with it a piece of our story, our process, and the Florida coast that continues to inspire us.
