Using multiple stencils and textures to create depth and interest, each vase is finished in different combinations of commercial celadon glazes and washes. The removable flower frog helps you achieve the perfect flower arrangement.

I took my first pottery class in 1999. I was hooked. I have always liked to play in the mud, but this was akin to magic. The way the clay responds to slight changes of pressure never ceases to amaze and vex me.
After years using the wheel, I switched to hand building. I was lured by the promise of creating textured structural forms and using the forms as a canvas.
Currently, I am exploring layering designs on the body of the pot to create stories and depth. I approach each composition like Iām creating a collage. I am also experimenting with stamping and embossing imagery. I like juxtaposing different line qualities.
With ceramics, I can bring all my interests to the creative process; drawing, design, storytelling, and nature.
