The durable, metal construction will last for years.  Each planter has crossbars welded to the interior to hold a wide variety of potted plants and accommodate drainage.

Outdoor Care - Sun will eventually break down the protective polyurethane coating on our products allowing moisture to come in contact with the steel. Most people choose to let nature take its course and let the steel age naturally. Others choose to preserve the patina by spraying additional coats of polyurethane. (Polyurethane spray is available at most hardware stores) Please note, rusted steel may transfer to surfaces it comes in contact with.

ex: The Lighter colored planters accurately show how your planter will look when it arrives. If you keep your planter outdoors, after years of rain, snow, etc. the rusting continues to develop and gradually turns into a gorgeous deep-colored brown/burnt orange tone.
