A full-motion, outdoor mobile, composed of vanes on curved armatures. The metal panels align with the breeze and the central tube, suspended inside the rings, stabilizes the mobile allowing it to still move gracefully in stronger winds.

- Signed and dated by the artist.
- COPPER: Copper vanes with curved brass armatures. Heat-treated to create the deep colorful hues and then clear coated with lacquer to protect the finish on the metal.
- ALUMINUM: Aluminum vanes are disc-brushed to create bright reflective light reflections in the metal.
- PATINA: Patinaed copper vanes with curved brass armatures. Clear coated with lacquer to protect the finish on the metal.

Joel Hotchkiss has been designing and creating contemporary kinetic art since 1976. He considers his kinetic art mobiles as "sculpture in air".
Creating functional, contemporary mobile designs for over 30 years has been a passionate and challenging journey. I still love this soothing sculptural art form that produces "poetry in air".
