Callery Pear Survivor Tree Pin
A Callery Pear tree was originally planted at the World Trade Center site in 1970's. Weeks after the 9/11 attacks it was discover in the rubble and was successfully nursed back to health and replanted at the site in 2010. It now stands 35 feet tall and is a symbol of the city and country's resilience. Michael Michaud's Callery Pear Jewelry pays tribute to this tree, which many dubbed the Survivor Tree. Michael Michaud's Callery Pear / Survivor Tree Jewelry is handcrafted in New York City.
The Survivor Tree brooch is cast in hand patinated bronze with matte silver plated flowers and white freshwater pearls.
