Sergio Lub

Individually handcraft Sergio's Northern California studios, bracelets are adjustable and designed to be worn continuously, aging gracefully as they last for years.

Many of bracelets have complex combinations of separate metal pieces. To ensure our designs withstand the stresses and strain of wearing all day silver solder is used to carefully join the metals together. Soldering several metals together into the same piece of jewelry requires delicate precision, and with practice one learns how to understand the different temperatures of each metal, by reading their glow as they are heated with a torch.

Primary Materials Include:

Pure Copper – The red/pink-ish metal found in many of our bracelets.

Jewelers’ Brass – The golden metal we use is an alloy (mixture of metals) containing approximately 85% pure copper and 15% zinc.
    - Zinc is another essential trace mineral for the human body...

German Silver – German Silver is the primary white metal we use. It is an alloy of 65% pure copper mixed with zinc and nickel.

Custom Fitting & Adjusting Your Bracelet

Sergio Adjusting Bracelet

We take the extra step of annealing our bracelets to ensure their longevity.  Although invisible to the eye, this process encourages each bracelet to easily adjust to each individuals unique wrist.  A properly fitted bracelet will provide reliable and comfortable contact of copper with skin.

* Since every wrist is unique, each bracelet will need custom fitting the first time you try it on.

The “Sweetest” way get your cuff bracelet on & off…

There is an area about 2” above the base of your hand…It is slightly higher (& often wider) than your actual wrist. We call this “The Sweet Spot

Not to be fooled with its larger appearance, this same area is softer and more forgiving than your actual ‘bony’ wrist. With a little more squish, the bracelet has a little more give.

  1. Apply one end of the bracelet on the soft underside of your wrist, about 2” above the base of your hand.
    - i.e. The Sweet Spot
  2. Roll the other end of the bracelet over this spot (in-between your wrist and your arm).
  3. Slide the bracelet down over the wrist bone toward your hand.

* A bracelet that is your size will allow you to roll on and off (steps 1 & 2) without further bending.

Magnets

Magnet-Bracelet-with-Copper-and-Sterling-Silver-Sergio-Lub-Bracelet-for-Health-Longevity-BalanceEach of our magnetic bracelets contains two powerful Rare Earth Magnets; one at each bracelet tip, carefully positioned to be worn over the wrist’s pressure points. Research has shown that magnetic fields influence biological systems, believed to attract and repel charged particles in the blood stream increasing circulation, stimulate tissue regeneration and reduce pain. In 1954, Dr. Linus Pauling, received a Nobel Prize for his discovery of the magnetic properties of hemoglobin. Pauling found that iron, and many electrolytic salts in our blood, circulate bio-magnetically. Therefore, the proximity of a magnetic field may result in an acceleration of circulation and the transfer of energy to all areas of the body.

Chinese doctors have believed for millennia that a magnetic field, when next to the body, could markedly increase the wearer’s vital life force, known as ‘Chi’. The observed benefits were found to increase with the magnets’ proximity to acupressure points. We carefully place magnets in our bracelets near two important pressure points of the wrist.

Care & Maintenance

Bracelets are made to be worn at all times, in nearly all places.

To keep your bracelet clean, we recommend wearing it in the shower, and using a simple jeweler’s polishing cloth when necessary to restore its shine.

We only use solid metals, so there is no plating to chip or wear off. Therefore any scratch or blemish you may acquire, can be buffed out with a simple polishing cloth, or by rubbing a lemon juice baking soda composit.

With this minimal care your bracelets should age gracefully with you and last for generations.
